governor brown is right. this crucible of creativity and talented share will continue to create companies that are correct again. the immigration issue to making sure that smart calendar people can stay here. as a nation, we should be competing. where is the best place for the next generation of entrepreneurs? the governor was saying california has -- has this forest of productivity. perhaps colorado is the way that california was 25 years ago. the cost of living is less expensive. all these people want to be here the way they wanted to be in california 25 years ago. maybe that natural competition is healthy and different states competing and try to be a place for we solve education and health care, and entrepreneurs who want to raise a family. if we're good enough at that, that is where ceos will want to expand. when they acquire a business, they want to put a division there. we have all these businesses and they got gobbled up by california companies. in most pates -- places, they keep their large workforce

brown knows or because your on this program during poverty week -- i am not asking this just to brown- nose or because you are on this program during party week. how often do you get asked about poverty and the poor in america? >> certainly not often enough. we certainly talk about poor people and get asked about what happens to people who do not have insurance in america. what about health disparities? how do our poorest kids fare with early childhood programs? what about their child care situations? what about the food they are eating and the neighborhoods they live in and the air they breathe? those are parts of the conversations that i have done a pretty regular basis. it is certainly part of the mission that we take pretty seriously and that the administration takes pretty seriously. what is happening to the most vulnerable, the least able to help themselves throughout our region say? it is health care, essential human services, help for poor families, getting people back to work, a whole series of strategies and programs that hopefully keep people on the road to opportunities in

brown tahoe we have a little bit of rain but the winter storm warnings are going up there. you can see the snow across from the higher peaks in the sierra nevada. we're still seeing another line of showers moving in and it looks like a pretty good sell starting to make its way into the north bay. the cold front moves through and we will keep the rain going on and off today. it looks like once the system moves through, a lot of cold air behind it which means some showers and maybe even some thunderstorms. numbers outside right now mainly in the fifties but it is very wet out there. if you plan on traveling around it will be wet one. 60s in the sacramento valley and the further north you go the wetter it will get. it will be a bit wet outside. temperatures running in the '50s and '60s today and in the weekend, a chance of thunderstorms. we may get a break by tuesday. >> it is still slippery and wet but fortunately, no major accidents out there. not much to slow down other than slippery roads. here is a live look at the dublin interchange. still about a 15 minute drive coming
